Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Louie’s roots run deep in the community. He attended St. Lawrence Catholic School and later graduated from Tampa Catholic High School. A talented athlete, Louie went on to play collegiate baseball at Florida College while earning his Associate of Arts Degree. He later transferred to the University of South Florida, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and discovered his calling—serving justice in the courtroom.
Louie earned his Juris Doctorate from Barry University School of Law and began his legal career in 2014 with the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office. For eight years, he served as an Assistant State Attorney, working closely with law enforcement to prosecute thousands of serious cases, including those involving domestic violence, child abuse, sexual violence, drug trafficking, and homicide.
Today, Louie serves as a Statewide Prosecutor with the Florida Attorney General's Office. In this role, he continues to prosecute complex and high-profile cases across multiple counties, including Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, and Manatee. As a member of the Cold Case Unit, Louie works on long-unsolved homicide and missing persons cases, bringing justice and closure to victims and their families.
Beyond the courtroom, Louie is an active member of the community. He serves on the board of RISE Tampa, a police foundation supporting the Tampa Police Department, is a member of the Cold Case Commission for the State of Florida, and coaches his daughters’ softball team. He is also a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
Louie and his wife are proud parents to two daughters and are devoted parishioners at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church. Faith, family, and a lifelong commitment to justice and public safety define Louie’s life and career.
